UC Irvine (UCI) Wayfinder startup company Wing recently launched a Business-to-Business (B2B) version of their personal assistant application on ProductHunt.com, a website that features the latest apps, websites, hardware projects and tech innovations.

For $600 a month, Wing’s new artificial intelligence-powered app for businesses helps company staff adjust to working from home during stay-at-home orders.

“During COVID, we have seen our app used for many services like restaurant reservations, travel bookings, or finding experiences become less frequent,” said Roland Polzin, co-founder and chief marketing officer. “However, working remotely became the new normal, and many small businesses faced more busy work for their teams.”

Originally launching as a personal assistance app earlier this year on ProductHunt.com, Wing’s new B2B feature uses the same technology, or what they now refer to as their “do engine” and real people to help with outsourcing tasks such as tracking office inventory, scheduling appointments, customer support monitoring and more.

The startup joined Wayfinder in 2017 and recently moved to SkyDeck, UC Berkeley’s accelerator and incubator program. They have since partnered with San Jose-based startup Kiwibot, a bot delivery service for local commerce, to help provide their customers with safe, contactless deliveries at an affordable price during the pandemic.

“We are just continuing to work on our company mission: to build the automation platform of the future – for people, teams and businesses and relieve them from time-consuming tasks,” said Polzin. “The end goal is to enable everyone to engage in more desirable activities and to be their true self without distractions.”
